  • Classical Kids concerts titled “Dancing Hands: How Teresa Carreno played the piano for President Lincoln” for the three elementary schools – TBA
    String Residence Program at Haut Gap MS – ONGOING
    Collaboration with Charleston Stage on “Of Mice and Mozart” – March 28

  • Performances at the Charleston Gaillard Center of “Finding Freedom: The Journey of Robert Small” for Angel Oak ES, Frierson ES, Mt. Zion ES, Haut Gap MS, and St. John’s HS accompanied by pre and post performance workshops – COMPLETED
Charleston Jazz
  • Weekly Melodica lessons at Angel Oak ES – ONGOING

Charleston Stage
  • Performances of hip-hop musical “Last Stop on Market Street” at Mt. Zion, Angel Oak, Frierson ES – May 8, 29, 30
  • Performances of “Junie B. Jones and Lightning Thief” at Dock Street Theatre for Angel Oak, Frierson, and Mt. Zion ES accompanied by pre and post performance workshops – COMPLETED
  • Collaboration with Chamber Music Charleston on “Of Mice and Mozart,” a 30-minute musical performed by Mt. Zion ES students – March 28
College of Charleston School of the Arts Children’s Opera
  • Performances of “Jack and the Beanstalk” at the three elementary schools – April 16 and 25
Engaging Creative Minds
  • Artists in Residence weeklong program at Angel Oak ES where students explored the cultural traditions of West Africa through drumming and dance and learned about the connections between West Africa and the Lowcountry in music, dance, food, and fashion. – COMPLETED

  • Open House Night for Angel Oak ES
Palmetto City Ballet
  • Spring performances at the elementary schools – TBA
PURE Theater
  • After-school theater programs at Haut Gap MS and St. John’s HS – ONGOING

Arts, etc. welcomes applications for funding from non-profit organizations based in Charleston and its environs. To learn more about the application process, requirements and deadlines please contact us at:  info@kiawahartsetc.org

If you are a Charleston based not for profit arts organization who would like to become an Arts, etc. Program Partner, please read over the FAQs sheet and complete the Certification Form.

Step One

Complete this form to apply for program funding.  Use a separate application for each program.

Step Two

Complete this form once dates have been locked in with the school – funding will be distributed once this form has been received.

Step Three

Complete this form once the program has been fully delivered.
