Arts, etc. relies on volunteers to manage the organization. Involvement provides an opportunity to work with like-minded Kiawah and Cassique women on projects supporting arts programming for the youth of Johns and Wadmalaw Islands.
There are many ways to become involved. Some roles are ongoing during the year in administrative efforts related to website, social media and financial management. Other members engage in the planning and execution of specific social events.
The greatest need for volunteer help is associated with the spring Kiawah Art & House Tour, the key fundraiser for Arts, etc. Committees ranging from ticket sales to business sponsorship to refreshments work in the months leading up to the event. And, on the day of the Tour volunteers are needed as house docents and parking attendants.
