We thank you for your interest in the arts and the value it has in the growth and development of our young community members. Please consider giving generously!
Arts, etc. is a 501(c)(3) not for profit, all-volunteer community of Kiawah Island and Cassique women dedicated to bringing visual, performance and literary arts programing to the youth on Johns and Wadmalaw Islands. The arts are an essential element of education, but the schools on these islands frequently lack funding for arts education opportunities.
The financial support we receive from our Arts, etc. Member Sponsors and Friends of Arts, etc. is critically important to our ability to fund these programs. These diverse and creative programs include individual vocal instruction for talented high schoolers, social skills improvisation labs for middle schoolers, web and graphic design at the elementary level – and so much more.
Our principal fundraiser is the annual spring Kiawah Art & House Tour. Here we are supported by tickets sales, raffle sales, and involved members and businesses. We also rely upon the generosity of Friends who may be located further afield.
