Halsey Institute Art Workshops
The Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art creates meaningful interactions between adventurous artists from around the world and diverse communities within a context that emphasizes the historical, social and cultural importance of the art of our time. Approximately five exhibitions are originated each year, complemented by video documentaries on the artists’ creative processes and catalogues providing meaningful context for the project.
This year, the Halsey will feature the first solo exhibition in the United States of Swiss-Guinean photographer Namsa Leuba. Arts, etc. will support a series of art-making and writing workshops at Edith L. Frierson elementary school inspired by the artist.
